ELECTRONIC VISIT VERIFICATION (EVV)
The State of California is required by Federal law to implement the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) using electronic or telephonic methods to submit and approve timesheets. As of May 2020, EVV will be mandatory in the County of Marin for all IHSS recipients and providers.
To create an account and enroll in EVV in the Electronic Services Portal (ESP), visit www.etimesheets.ihss.ca.gov.

ELECTRONIC TIMESHEET SYSTEM (ETS)
ETS benefits include:
- Submit and check timesheet status electronically
- Save on mailing/postage fees
- Eliminate mail time and delays
- Avoid timesheet errors and receive notifications of possible overtime violations
TELEPHONE TIMESHEET SYSTEM (TTS)
If a recipient does not have access to or is unable to use an electronic device, they can use TTS to approve timesheets by telephone. Recipients must call (833) 342-5388 to receive a passcode before they sign up for TTS. Once signed up, recipients call (833) 342-5388 to approve timesheets.
